Flagpole Premieres: Saint Syzygy, “She Wants to Lose Motor Function” Video

Get your Monday morning started with a jolt through Saint Syzygy’s new video for “She Wants to Lose Motor Function” off of the band’s new album, All of My Friends Are Sick. Written and performed by members Ian Hemerlein, Alex Nicholson, Jake Cooper and Tyler Ryan, the track was engineered at Glow Recording Studio by Hemerlein, while the video was co-directed by Hemerlein and Cooper.

Was that a joro spider for a fraction of a second at 2:02, or am I hallucinating?

Saint Syzygy’s new album is set to be released digitally on Nov. 20. The band also plans to make a limited batch of vinyl records, with pre-orders available through the band’s website up until Nov. 20.

“The album is about continuing the conversation of ending the stigma surrounding mental health problems by addressing how so many of us combat these issues at points in time or for the whole of our lifetimes,” says Hemerlein. “Because of this, all profits made from the vinyl sale and digital downloads on Bandcamp will be donated to Nuçi’s Space.”
