Drive-By Truckers, of Montreal to Release Record Store Day Exclusives

In addition to the R.E.M. “Unplugged” 4-LP set we told you about the other day, two other well-known Athens groups will release exclusive, limited-edition vinyl for Record Store Day, which is Saturday, Apr. 19.

First, the Drive-By Truckers will drop a 10-inch version of their Dragon Pants EP, which they previously included as a bonus download with purchases of English Oceans, their masterful recent album.

Second, eccentric popsters of Montreal will release a new 7-inch, “Jigsaw Puzzle,” as well as a 10th anniversary edition of the 2004 indie-pop classic Satanic Panic in the Attic (cover art above).

All those items will be available locally exclusively via Wuxtry Records and will surely sell out very quickly. View the full list of RSD releases here.
