On Tuesday, Sept. 30 local nonprofit Nuçi’s Space will celebrate its official 25th birthday, and the final day of Suicide Prevention Month, with a day of reflection at its facility, featuring a Suicide Prevention Month Reflection Station, an anniversary video recording booth, coloring activities for kids, coffee and chocolate tastings, and BYOR (Bring Your Own Record) to spin on the turntable.
In partnership with Condor Chocolates, Nuçi’s Space will also release a limited-edition chocolate bar. One of the circulating chocolate bars includes a Golden Ticket—a free pair of tickets to the special anniversary benefit concert on Friday, Dec. 12 at the Georgia Theatre. There will be live performances from Athens musicians, including Patterson Hood and Camp Amped alumna Willow Avalon, with more to be announced.
General admission for the event will be $100, with $250 VIP tickets. Public sale begins Oct. 6 at nuci.org/25years.
