Athens-Clarke County’s annual holiday parade is returning with the theme “Run, Run Rudolph.” Parade entrants will compete for awards including Most Original Float, Best Use of Theme, Best Use of Lights and more. The best float will receive the Mayor’s Award. This year’s parade marshal is Olympic gold medalist Aaliyah Butler. Butler is a member of the University of Georgia track and field team and competed on the American women’s 4 x 400 meter relay team at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
