Calendar Pick: North Georgia Folk Festival Redux

Credit: Peter Loose

The original 39th annual North Georgia Folk Fest was canceled in the wake of Hurricane Helene, but this mini make-up festival is keeping the spirit of the event alive. Featured artists this year include North Georgia singer-songwriter Julia Barfield (6 p.m.), rootsy duo MrJordanMrTonks (6:45 p.m.), bluegrass outfit Borderhop Trio (7:45 p.m.) and traditional jam duo Pickled Holler (8:45 p.m.). Pat Shields will be sharing stories in between musical sets. Festival T-shirts and bandanas featuring original artwork by Peter Loose will be available for purchase at the event.
