Marcel P. Black and Alfred Banks, two nationally known hip-hop artists, are making a stop in Athens on their Black Outside Tour. Black is a Baton Rouge-born veteran emcee featured on XXL.com’s list “12 Baton Rouge Rappers You Should Know” and highlighted on HipHopDX.com’s “Up Next By DX” feature. Outside of music, he is known as a youth development worker and community resource coordinator. Banks is a multi-award-winning New Orleans-based rapper and singer. He has been featured on multiple media lists, received a Netflix film soundtrack placement and recently toured with Grammy Award-nominated Tank & the Bangas. Hosted by ATHfactor-Liberty Entertainment, the experience includes local support from lyricists DK and Kid Arsenic.
