Calendar Pick: A Day in the Life of Adolph Zukor

Town & Gown Players presents A Day in the Life of Adolph Zukor, a comedic play set in the early days of Hollywood. Written by and featuring local playwright Arnie Krauss, the play will run for three days on July 8–10. In what is being called a “love letter to old-style Vaudevillian and Jewish humor,” the play follows studio mogul Adolph Zukor, one of the founders of Paramount, and gossip columnist Hedda Hopper’s attempts to usurp him by penning an exposė against him. The cast includes actors Skip Hulett, Christine Carpenter, Josh Darnell, Elizabeth Vitale and Sam Hopkins. Town & Gown Players is a nonprofit community theater.
