The Boybutante AIDS Foundation’s 31st annual Boybutante Ball presents jaw-dropping, gender-bending drag performances by the region’s most talented and creative queens and kings. Interpreting this year’s theme, “Miss Thing Unleashed: The Diva Slays Tonight,” entertainers strut down the runway to raise funds for advocacy, education and direct client services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Leading up to the ball, Sofia Lorent and Lacie Bruce will host “Spring Bingo” at Paloma Park (Apr. 20), and “Spill the T,” a percentage night and cocktail pop-up with guest bartender T Silva, will take place at Heirloom Café (Apr. 21). As per tradition, the party will keep rolling with a “Post Ball Brunch” at the Athens Cotton Press the next morning. Visit boybutante.org.
