Dana Gould & Bobcat Goldthwait

Dana Gould and Bobcat Goldthwait were scheduled to perform at the 40 Watt last August, but the show was canceled after the comedians suffered minor injuries in an Atlanta car crash. (Insert joke about Atlanta traffic here.) The longtime friends are back with a make-up gig, allowing us to finally witness their “Show With Two Heads” live and in person. Goldthwait’s directing credits include “Chappelle’s Show” and World’s Greatest Dad, while Gould has written for “The Simpsons,” “Parks and Recreation” and other comedies. Gould told Flagpole last summer that the two were psyched to play Athens. “The Athens music scene was something Bob and I bonded over when we were younger, and we still love it.”
