Mindfulness Fair

The third annual Mindfulness Fair begins with a drumming session led by Arvin Scott of Drumming for Success, a Call to the Four Directions by Kapua Ching of Mindful Breath Sangha, a meditation with Mike Healy of Mindful Living Center and a walk through the labyrinth with Lane Norton of St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church—all within the first hour. Various presentations will be given throughout the afternoon, many of which explore the intersections of mindfulness with service, mental health, yoga, creativity and social responsiveness. The day closes with a talk by Coleman Barks, former UGA professor and well-known Rumi translator. Lunch will be provided.
