For the 26th year, the Piedmont Gardeners—real, down-in-the-dirt gardeners themselves—treat us to five local gardens we probably wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to visit. The tour is relaxed, and you set your own pace, visiting each garden on your own in whatever order you prefer, staying as long as you like at each stop. The tour goes on rain or shine, and the proceeds help with scholarships for UGA horticultural students. The tour book you receive for your $15 (in advance) or $20 (day of) doubles as your admission ticket. See piedmontgardeners.org for descriptions of the gardens and the list of sponsors selling tickets (or buy them online).
