St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Kick off the holiday weekend by kicking up your heels at The Foundry, which hosts its annual St. Patrick’s Day shindig Saturday. Enjoy live Irish music all afternoon and into the evening courtesy of local groups the Green Flag Band and The Gentry. The Nashville Celts, a globally recognized group of performers, led by songwriter Ric Blair, who find the creative sweet spot between traditional Celtic music and rootsy Americana, will headline. The Athens-based Carpenter Academy of Irish Dancing will showcase its young students’ talent throughout the day. Guinness drafts will be on special, and an Irish menu will be served.
