As part of the gallery’s new Beast It series, “Surround” is an immersive exhibition featuring contributions from over 20 local artists, including James David Barsness, William Dantzler, Jeremy Kiran Fernandes, Jeremy Raj, Logan Shirah and Alex Suarez. Curated by composer Monique Osorio and AC Carter’s Scorpion Beach, the opening will include music from Cult of Riggonia, Lambda Celsius, Richard Gumby, Moth Sweat and more. Collaborations include an improv set between Killick Hinds and Stephanie Pharr, a play by Scott Crossman, clowning by Cooper Holmes and “Concerto for Beverly” with musicians Osorio and Sahada Buckley and costume designer Ajmal Millar. “Surround” will remain on view through Mar. 11.
