UnoTheActivist, Thouxanbanfauni, Warhol.ss

One of the most promising artists currently making noise in Atlanta’s overcrowded rap underground, 21-year-old rapper UnoTheActivist released the No More Thotties mixtape in 2015 before breaking through with “What,” a 2016 collaboration with his cousin, trap star Playboi Carti. The Gift of Gab tape followed that year. After a lengthy delay, in November he finally dropped Live.Shyne.Die, an ambitious, easy-flowing record that combines cloud-rap ambience with a street-smart sensibility. Uno hits the Georgia Theatre Thursday evening alongside fellow up-and-comers Thouxanbanfauni, who hails from Atlanta via Chattanooga, and ATLien-turned-Chicagoan Warhol.ss.
