Bloodkin and Friends

Athens has many holiday traditions: artist markets, the Parade of Lights and our very own Slackpole, to name just a few. The annual Bloodkin and Friends concert, where the long-running local roots-rock crew is joined by a few (dozen) of their best musical pals for an evening of mirth and music, is surely near the top of the list. This year’s event returns to the fabulous 40 Watt Club, where attendees can expect to rock and roll in the spirit of the season. A VIP reception precedes the event, featuring a meet-and-greet with an open bar and light appetizers, plus a copy of the show poster seen here, designed by artist JT Lucchesi.
