English stand-up comedian and actor Eddie Izzard’s massive Force Majeure is likely the most ambitious comedy tour to date. Launched in spring 2013, the world tour is circumnavigating the globe, taking Izzard through 28 countries on five continents and all 50 U.S. states during its course. His surreal stream-of-consciousness delivery has earned him numerous recognitions, including an Emmy for his comedy special “Dress to Kill” and two British Comedy Awards for Top Stand-Up Comedian. A familiar face on the silver screen, Izzard has appeared in Ocean’s Twelve, Across the Universe and Valkyrie, and he’s performed as a voice actor for Igor, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and Cars 2.
