Oh, whew, guys. Unlike many, many other restaurants faced with closing that have promised to reopen elsewhere and that almost never do, Taste of India will live on.
The downtown restaurant announced today that it will be moving to the Eastside, into the Ansonborough development on Gaines School Road. It will be open downtown through June and into July, with little, if any, down time in between moving locations.
Lil Ice Cream Dude‘s Cool World ice cream shop, in the same development, has had some hiccups going through the permitting process but seems to be moving forward again.
