Sakura
Sakura’s second location, in Five Points, next to The Pine, is open! Yay! It does not appear to have a Facebook page or be reflected on the original location’s website, but it’s doing lunch and dinner business. Woo!
Caborita, on Mitchell Bridge Road, in the former Kumquat Mae, is also open, with fajitas and margaritas (and Tex-Mex samosas?). Its website is here. Woo!
A Texas Roadhouse is open on Epps Bridge Parkway, in what was formerly a Ryan’s. Slightly less woo!
Cakewalk, a small cafe selling baked goods from around the Athens area, coffee and gifts, is open at 688 S. Milledge Ave. (at Springdale).
Jacob’s Pizza, with calzones, wings, salads and fancy braided breadsticks as well as pizza, is open in Colbert, at 6376 Hwy. 72 W.
Hooray for everyone!
