Places to Buy Your Mom Some Brunch

It is a truth universally acknowledged that Mother’s Day and brunch go together like Halloween and candy corn. I guess. Here are some places offering special things for your moms and meemaws this Sunday. The list will be updated as we see more places.

  • Craft Public House is serving its regular Sunday brunch from 10 a.m.–3 p.m., but is offering a free mimosa to moms this Sunday. Moms also get a chance to win a signed copy of Juanina Kocher’s “Classic City Cooking” cookbook. You can see the brunch menu here.
  • Graduate Athens is doing a Mother’s Day brunch in The Foundry ballroom and on the patio from 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Sunday. Drink specials, carving station, hot entrees and desserts will run you $38.50 for adults, $19.24 kids 5–12, free for little ones 4 and under. Call 706-549-7020 or reserve online at foundryathens.com
  • George’s Lowcountry Table is doing brunch all day Sunday, starting at 10 a.m. (menu here).
  • If your mom loves BBQ, you could take her out to Cabin Creek, in Nicholson, which is doing a meaty buffet for $14.95 (adults)/$7.95 (kids).
