Thai Cuisine E3 Is Open in the Former Speakeasy Downtown

If you’ve been wondering what might fill the space of the former Speakeasy on Broad Street downtown, upstairs from Einstein Bros. Bagels, here you go: Thai Cuisine E3 is open for business there.

The restaurant is open Monday through Wednesday from 11 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 5–9:30 p.m.; Thursday and Friday from 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.–midnight; Saturday from noon–midnight; and Sunday from 3–8 p.m.

The menu is fairly long and includes your basic rolls and fried thingies among the appetizers, tom yum and tom kha soup, some attractive-sounding salads, a section of noodle dishes (plus more listed under Special Entrees), fried rice, curries, crispy duck, lots of fish and seafood, coconut ice cream, banana leaf sweet rice, Thai tea and lunch specials.

It doesn’t include beer and wine yet, but those should be coming, along with a Facebook page.
