Hot on the heels of Mediterranean Grill expanding to Athens, another small Atlanta-area chain is opening a location here. Cafe Istanbul has hung out a banner for the space between Utage and Jerzees, on Clayton Street downtown.
The restaurant serves Turkish and more generically Mediterranean food and has other locations on Lawrenceville Highway (technically in Decatur but more accurately on the approach to Atlanta, in an area full of Indian and Pakistani restaurants), in Alpharetta and in Kennesaw.
