AFM gets going this Saturday at Bishop Park at 8 a.m., and Michael Farfour swears that Farm Cart will be there, serving “large, Southern buttermilk biscuits made with organic flour and local meats. Red Mule Grits made with Full Moon Farm’s broccoli salt and finished with pea shoots.” Yay!
Other new vendors this season include: All Hearted Souls Tea (organic teas by the cup or bag), Billabay Farm (eggs), Buttercup Farm (pestos and soups), Farmington Herbals (soaps and skin care), Four Bellies Farm (produce and eggs), Haggard Road Farm (produce), KSST Soap and Stone Studio (jewelry), Spring Valley Eco Farm (produce and eggs), Starks Valley Farm (produce), Natural Baby (baby-safe cleaning products) and Tom Homann Pottery.
The Wednesday evening market at Creature Comforts (4–7 p.m.) gets going this coming week and will also feature Farm Cart (double yay!).
