I’ve covered Streets Cafe occasionally in my column, but the peripatetic food truck now seems to have a real home, operating at the Max on Washington Street on Friday and Saturday nights.
Spotted in Watkinsville recently, next to the Waffle House on Macon Highway, is a sign promising a location of Golden Chick, a Texas-based fried chicken franchise. It also does catfish, chicken salad, roast chicken, salads, yeast rolls and livers and gizzards.
