Downtown streets will be closed at 4 p.m. Friday for the University of Georgia homecoming parade.
The parade starts at 6 p.m. near City Hall and run west on Hancock Avenue, south on Pulaski Street, east on Clayton Street, north on Thomas Street and west on Washington Street back to City Hall, with floats and other participants exiting downtown north on College Avenue. It is expected to wrap up at 7 p.m.
Georgia plays No. 11 Kentucky at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
