Following the 1992 NPR broadcast of his essay “Santaland Diaries,” David Sedaris has continued his success as a leading American humorist, comedian, writer and radio contributor. His Athens performance will include a selection of readings and recollections, sharing his satirical and often self-deprecating brand of humor. Touring behind the release of his latest book, Calypso, Sedaris is also the author of New York Times bestsellers Naked, Holidays on Ice, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, and When You Are Engulfed in Flames. Presented by GPB, Wednesday’s event also includes a Q&A session and book signing.
