Rose of Athens Theatre presents the tale of Eurydice, a nymph who died prematurely following her marriage to Orpheus, but gets a second shot at life—if she can be retrieved from the underworld. Written by Sarah Ruhl and directed by Gary T. Moore, this version tells the classic Greek myth from the perspective of its heroine. In fall 2016, RoA acquired Rose Hall, a warehouse at 150 Fritz Mar Lane that has been used for classes, rehearsals and workshops. Eurydice is the inaugural production of Petal Projects, a series of smaller-scale performances envisioned by Artistic Director Danielle Bailey Miller. Seating is limited to 30, and tickets can be reserved by calling 706-340-9181 or emailing [email protected].
