“Not since Reagan has there been such a happy warrior,” Madeline Adams sings on “Happy Warrior,” her sweetly acerbic new neocon-baiting tune. The song, she explained at a recent live performance, is inspired by—and, with it’s closing “fuck you,” dedicated to—Republican vice-presidential nominee Paul Ryan, he of “method of conception” madness.
