Abbey Road Live Marks 50th Anniversary of Rooftop Concert With Wuxtry Show Today

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ final public performance, a famed impromptu set atop the Apple Records building in London, local Beatles tribute act Abbey Road Live will play a pop-up show Thursday on the rooftop deck overlooking Wuxtry Records downtown.

The set will start at 3 p.m. and “end when the band gets too cold, or when the police shut us down—whichever comes first,” reads the Facebook event page. It will include “all the songs the Beatles performed on the Apple rooftop 50 years ago and then some,” and the group will be joined by unnamed special guests.

Abbey Road Live recently paid tribute to the White Album to mark its 50th anniversary.
