Crooked Fingers, Olivia Tremor Control, Dent May kick off TC15 Tonight

Tonight at the Georgia Theatre, Team Clermont’s Summer Showcase returns after a five-year absence, and it does so with a bang: along with Oxford indie-lounge master Dent May, the show features lauded locals Olivia Tremor Control and Crooked Fingers, both of whom only play Athens (or anywhere, really) once in a blue moon.

Above, check out the video for a classic Crooked Fingers tune (from that band’s self-titled 2000 release), “New Drink for the Old Drunk.” We’re damn lucky that CF headmaster Eric Bachmann currently calls our home home, and having seen the band in its current, Liz Durrett-buoyed incarnation, I can honestly say that theirs is a show that you probably shouldn’t miss.
