Athens Transit is in the midst of a $180,000 study on the efficiency of the local transit system and is seeking public input.

The study is looking into how various aspects of the system—Athens Transit, Campus Transit, private apartment-complex shuttles, etc.—all fit together.

If you can handle the snow, two public hearings are scheduled today at the Multimodal Transportation Center at 775 E. Broad St., one at 1 p.m. and the other at 5 p.m.

And if you can’t make it today, hearings are scheduled for the same time and place on Tuesday, Mar. 1, or you can take an online survey through Mar. 7.
