Bubbly Mommy Gun Releases Psyched-Out New Video for ‘Motorcycle Dawn’

The local post-post-post-popsters in Bubbly Mommy Gun have released a music video for “Motorcycle Dawn,” a tune from last year’s Sand Roses (BubblyMommyGunSandRoses ha ha ha ha ha get it?). That album, you’ll recall, placed at number eight on our year-end list. We also reviewed it quite favorably back in October. So, yeah—sue us, we like these weirdos. Don’t sue us.

The video, directed by bassist/wild man Mercer West, is, as you might expect, quite the vibed-out and disorienting joyride.

The band is getting set to embark on a tour of Florida and North Carolina, but first, it next plays locally on Monday, Feb. 11 at a “secret” local DIY venue. Or somewhere else, on some other date. BMG has a habit of popping up wherever and whenever it sees fit.
