AthFest has announced a new slew of bands set to perform at the three-day festival this June, to add to the first wave of artists, which we revealed a couple weeks ago. Reptar will appear once again, but it remains to be seen if this year’s show will be as bloody as the last.
Twin Tigers, riding high on the release of the excellent Death Wish, will perform, as will post-rockers Easter Island and the lovely Shonna Tucker & Eye Candy. Swiftly rising duo Dream Boat (playing Flagpole‘s My Athens event this Friday!) will also appear.
Others announced: St. Paul and the Broken Bones, MrJordanMrTonks, Dangfly, Ceiling Fan, The Warm Fuzzies, Mama’s Love, powerkompany, Dana Swimmer, Tedo Stone, Eddie and the Public Speakers, Saint Francis, Charlie Garrett Band, Cicada Rhythm, Hope for Agoldensummer, DJ Quincy (Aka John Swint), Blue Blood and Velveteen Pink.
The full schedule will be released May 1. As previously announced, AthFest wristbands are available for the seriously low price of $15 during April. In May, they’ll be $17.50, and in June they’ll go up to $20. So hop to it, Pruitt.
