In addition to Harry’s BBQ shuttering (although it’ll still be around for catering), The Volstead, on Clayton Street downtown, closed last Saturday. Mostly a bar, it also served some food.
Junkyard Dawgs, on Highway 441, appears to have closed some time ago and has a sign up offering the property for sale as a turn-key business.
Both the Five Points and downtown locations of Yoforia say they’re closed “for the winter,” but we hear equipment was spotted leaving the former’s building, which suggests the closure is permanent.
