Co-sponsored by the Athens Area Human Relations Council and the Interfaith Clergy Partnership of Greater Athens, this virtual service is a formal observance of the life and goals of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community clergy-members are invited to give reflections on Dr. King, his quest for justice and being of service to one’s community. The theme is “The Urgency of Creating the Beloved Community” with keynote speaker Rev. Dr. Ryan Baer of First Presbyterian Church of Athens followed by reflections by Rev. Dr. Daryl G.
