Talent from across the Athens area are invited to attend this open mic competition on the first, second and third Thursday of each month. Attendees can expected featured performances, an open mic competition, food and drink specials and door prizes. The event is hosted by Mokah and Knowa Johnson, founders of Athens Anti Discrimination Movement, the Athens Hip Hop Awards and several local events.

Artists can enter the open mic competition by registering and paying a fee that will be included in the grand prize. There’s a two-song limit and judges will choose the winner from criteria such as performance, song choice, delivery, crowd response, etc. The winner will be next week’s featured performance and will compete on the last Thursday of the month against the other winners that month for the 30-day title and promotions.
