I mentioned Matt Patton earlier as a member of the Drive-By Truckers, but it’s clear now that he does much more. Between being a frequent bassist with the Truckers and a few other bands and projects, he also owns and produces at his studio in Water Valley, MS. Dial Back Sound, Patton’s studio and label, will be holding a free label showcase ahead of the Mar. 31 Truckers show at the 40 Watt Club. The show will feature label artists Eleganza, Krista Show and the Williamson Brothers. It’ll be a charming intersection of roots rock, country and folk.
