Arrowhawk Records Sixth Anniversary Party

To celebrate her Athens-based label’s sixth anniversary, Arrowhawk Records founder Alyssa DeHayes is throwing a pre-fest party featuring a tasty lineup of local and touring bands. Heavy chooglers Arbor Labor Union, formerly Pinecones, will make their first local appearance in some time, giving newbies a chance to experience their Sub Pop-approved post-punk. Electroacoustic wizard Hand Sand Hands will likewise make a triumphant return to the local stage, joined by agit-punks Deep State. Actor and singer-songwriter Chris Crofton, whose 2018 Arrowhawk release Hello It’s Me grappled warmly and openly with addiction and isolation, will also perform, with local psych-country group The Pink Stones serving as his backing band.
