Classic City Music Festival

Over the past few years, the UGA Music Business Program has spawned a sort of cottage scene, its budding musicians, managers and promoters forming a creative and commercial network that often seems to operate independently of the wider local music community. The Classic City Music Festival, a showcase of MBUS-related bands organized by undergrads in the program, gives folks a chance to see what the kids have been up to. Sunday’s performers include Ashley Walls, The Family Recipe, Underground Springhouse, Daniel Hardin and lots more. Proceeds benefit the Music Business Summer Opportunity Scholarship, which assists students seeking out-of-state internships with relocation costs.
