A Winter Revelry

The Georgia Theatre’s official end-of-year holiday throwdown will showcase some of Athens’ best and brightest indie-rock talent while also providing those in attendance an easy chance to give back to the community. Co-presented by Creature Comforts and Classic City Memes, “A Winter Revelry” features performances on rotating stages from local bands New Madrid, Grand Vapids, Wanderwild, Deep State and Hank Sullivant. Concertgoers are encouraged to wear their tackiest holiday getups to Thursday’s event, proceeds from which benefit Athenspets, the local nonprofit whose mission is to help rescue animals at the ACC shelter find permanent homes.
