Groovy Nights

Project Safe’s 16th annual fundraiser, Groovy Nights: Battle of the Decades, invites attendees to choose between the ’70s or ’80s—Bell bottoms or leg warmers? Feathered or crimped hair? Paisley or neon?—and work it out on the dance floor. DJ Mahogany will spin hits as Lisa Mende emcees, and five teams will perform in a lip-syncing competition. The night also includes costume contests, VIP lounges, tarot card readings, body painting, guest appearances, nostalgic snacks and drinks and a chance to win prizes by spinning a giant wheel. Proceeds benefit Project Safe’s various educational programs, crisis intervention and supportive services for survivors of domestic violence.
