AthFest Music & Arts Festival organizers have announced the headliners for this year's fest, which takes place June 24–26 in downtown Athens.

On Friday, June 24, local favorites Family and Friends will headline the outdoor stage with a set of their rousing folk-rock. The next night, Atlanta's underground hip hop legends Arrested Development will close out the evening on the same stage. Sunday evening, Athens-based indie-pop virtuoso Kishi Bashi will put a bow on things.

In addition, organizers announced, Atlanta garage-rock misfits Black Lips will headline the 40 Watt's Club Crawl lineup on Saturday, June 25.

More lineup announcements are coming soon, with the full festival lineup announced May 3. As always, all outdoor shows are free, and Club Crawl wristbands are available for $20 until Apr. 30, when the price jumps to $25. You can purchase them through the AthFest site.

AthFest, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, is presented by AthFest Educates, which "advances high-quality music and arts education for local youth and the Athens community through direct support of school and community-based programs and events."
