If you’ve been wondering what’s planning on taking the place of the abandoned gas station on Lumpkin between Milledge and the university, it looks like Atlanta’s Flip Burger Boutique, one of Richard Blais’ projects, is interested. Its two-story exterior doesn’t mean two floors of dining, at least in its previous locations (two in Atlanta, one in Birmingham), just a largeish building. It’s most famous, perhaps, for its milkshakes, which include foie gras, Krispy Kreme and Nutella and burnt marshmallow flavors, but the burgers come in many styles as well, from tartare to chicken-fried.
And Donderos’ Kitchen, long crammed into a little space on Milledge, by Prince, is looking to move next door, into a slightly larger building.
