Basketball Team, Adam Hebbard and the Et Als

Featuring members of a bunch of long-gone bands with goofball names that will only ring a bell if you went to UGA circa 2002–2006 (e.g., Drunk and Furious, Attractive ’80s Women, That’s What She Said, Suburban Messiah), Basketball Team presents a release show for its A Very Christmas EP, an unholy celebration of holiday classics. Helmed by guitarist and vocalist Adam Hebbard, who will also open Friday’s show with his band Adam Hebbard and the Et Als, the self-proclaimed supergroup aims to rekindle the scuzzy magic of DT’s Down Under with a little Christmas joy thrown in for good measure. All concertgoers will receive a copy of the EP.
