The Bronzed Chorus, Double Ferrari, Lazer/Wulf

If it’s jaw-dropping onstage showmanship you’re after this weekend, look no further than the Caledonia Lounge. The music of Greensboro, NC duo The Bronzed Chorus skirts chiptune, math-pop and post-rock without falling readily into any of the three categories. The group, which consists of six-stringer Adam Joyce and his colleague Hunter Allen—who primarily handles drum duties but also plays synth and other instruments, often simultaneously—reminds us that massive sound can come from a minimalist setup. Local power-rockers Double Ferrari and Atlanta prog-metal purveyors Lazer/Wulf share the bill.
