The New Orleans Suspects

The New Orleans Suspects’ collective resume reads like a who’s who of Crescent City music: The band’s members have performed alongside artists like the Neville Brothers, Professor Longhair, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and the Radiators, among others. The Suspects’ music is a joyous celebration of New Orleans’ heritage and a lesson in better music through chemistry; free-flowing and airtight, the band’s latest album, last year’s Ouroboros, was its most toned and propulsive yet. The group’s live set features a blend of funk-forward originals and energetic takes on tunes by Big Easy legends like Dr. John. Good luck keeping your ass in its seat for the duration of this show.
