For a punk band, The Jack Burton is totally laid back. These guys say they like to keep things real "casual." Musically they are influenced by "any and everything," but the live show is definitely fueled by punk-rock volume and intensity. I wish I could say more, but frankly I need to hear more! What I caught of the last set at the Caledonia with Hot Breath and Vincas was definitely solid, tight and loud. "Posi" punk, for those unfamiliar with the term, seems to refer to "positive punk," meaning bands that have a punk-rock sound but not the punk political ethos (contrary to So It Goes, above).
