The dog days of summer inspired yet another Athens group to form. The Gray Hounds came together in July to rock with classic American swagger. Like the Grateful Dead jamming on CCR's greatest hits, The Gray Hounds have a breezy, bluesy way about them - ringing guitars and pounding bass dipped just slightly in a bit of Southern grease. Look for future Gray Hounds' releases on the Asheville, NC label GreenCastle.
