While Christopher's Liver has been on momentary hiatus as Ingham remains in Athens and bandmate Laura Swindall is out in San Francisco, Ingham launched this new duo side project back in May. This time he teams up with Elizabeth Hargrett of My Unborn Children. As the two put short stories to sound with an emphasis on simplicity, Ingham strums the ukulele while Hargrett plays on a keyboard. The resulting sound, says Favorite Cousin, is similar to that of solo indie act Casiotone for the Painfully Alone or Welsh trio Young Marble Giants.

You'll have to catch a show or find live footage on YouTube to hear Favorite Cousin because this band ain't havin' none of that MySpace nonsense.
