I won't ruin the many, many bizarre and neigh avant-garde elements of Bob Dylan's new music video from his holiday record, "Christmas in the Heart." You should just watch it. But I have to say, I really enjoy the fact that Dylan can get away with pretty much anything he could possibly want in a music video, and that he approached a director with the treatment we see enacted here is as mind-blowing as anything in his career. It's as if he surveyed his legacy and decided he hadn't left enough baffling dead-end biographical false trails or oddball turns. He's definitely giving Neil Young a run for his money in those departments, at least. Enjoy?
