Okay, so the ink on the lease is dry. It's true. Hugh Acheson, Peter Dale and Chuck Ramsey of Five & Ten and The National are doing a thing in Atlanta, at 10th and Peachtree, across the street from the Margaret Mitchell House, in a building where they're intended to provide the anchor tenant. No, this doesn't mean any of them are leaving us. It just means they got offered a great deal, and they have a plan for a meat-and-three that looks like a fun opportunity. The new digs are set to be called Empire State South and open, roughly, February or March, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's a bocce court in the works, and dessert will be house-made soft-serve. More details as they arise.
